Overview
Bitmint Lab provides software products, SaaS subscriptions, product customization, implementation and other software-related engagements.
Refund eligibility depends on the type of purchase, work already completed, resources allocated, applicable subscription terms and any written quotation, proposal or agreement.
A payment does not automatically qualify for a refund. Each valid request is reviewed according to the applicable product or project terms.
SaaS Subscriptions
Subscription fees provide access to the selected Bitmint Lab product, plan, modules or platform for the applicable billing period.
Unless a specific written offer states otherwise, subscription payments already charged for an active billing period are generally non-refundable once access to the product has been provided.
A customer may stop future renewals according to the cancellation terms applicable to the product or subscription.
Renewals and Cancellation
Where a subscription is configured for renewal, customers should submit a cancellation request before the next billing date if they do not wish to continue the subscription.
Cancellation generally prevents future billing and does not automatically create a refund for an already-paid billing period.
Product access may remain available until the end of the applicable paid period unless otherwise stated in the relevant plan or agreement.
Custom Development and Implementation
Custom development, product customization, integrations, implementation and other project work may involve planning, design, development, infrastructure setup and allocation of technical resources.
Once work has started, payments relating to work already performed or resources already committed are generally non-refundable.
Where a project is cancelled before completion, any settlement will be based on completed work, committed resources, applicable third-party costs and the terms of the relevant proposal or agreement.
Advance and Milestone Payments
Projects may require an advance payment or milestone-based payment before work begins or before a new phase is started.
Advance or milestone payments may be used for requirement analysis, resource allocation, development, infrastructure, integrations, design or other agreed project activities.
Amounts corresponding to work already completed or costs already incurred are not refundable.
When a Refund May Be Considered
Subject to the applicable agreement and circumstances, a refund or adjustment may be considered where:
- A duplicate payment was successfully charged.
- An incorrect amount was charged because of a verified billing error.
- A payment was successfully collected for a service that Bitmint Lab confirms it is unable to provide.
- A specific written proposal, subscription or commercial agreement expressly provides for a refund.
- A refund is otherwise required under applicable law.
Non-Refundable Payments
Unless otherwise agreed in writing or required by applicable law, refunds will generally not be provided for:
- Completed development, configuration, customization or implementation work.
- Active SaaS subscription periods that have already started.
- Change-of-mind after work or product access has begun.
- Delays caused by missing customer information, approvals, content, credentials or dependencies.
- Features or changes outside the originally agreed scope.
- Resources specifically allocated to an approved project.
- Domain, hosting, cloud, API, messaging, app-store, payment-gateway or other external costs already incurred.
Third-Party Charges
Certain Bitmint Lab products or projects may use third-party infrastructure, APIs, cloud platforms, domains, payment services, messaging providers, app stores or other external services.
Charges already paid to third-party providers are subject to the policies of those providers and may not be refundable by Bitmint Lab.
How to Request a Refund
Refund requests should include sufficient information for us to identify and review the relevant transaction.
Please provide, where applicable:
- Your full name.
- Business or organization name.
- Registered email address or phone number.
- Product, subscription or project name.
- Invoice, receipt or transaction reference.
- Payment date and amount.
- A clear explanation of the refund request.
Providing complete transaction information helps us review a refund request more efficiently.
Review and Processing
Bitmint Lab will review a refund request against the applicable product, subscription, invoice, proposal and project status.
If a refund is approved, it will generally be returned through the original payment method where reasonably possible.
The time required for a credited amount to appear may depend on the bank, payment gateway or financial institution processing the transaction.
Changes to This Policy
Bitmint Lab may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy as our products, payment models or business practices evolve.
The latest version will be published on this page with an updated revision date where appropriate.
